Sponsor and exhibit at ONA09, the Online News Association’s annual conference in beautiful downtown San Francisco, in the heart of tech central, and join in ONA’s 10th anniversary celebration!
Date:
Friday-Saturday, Oct. 2-3, 2009
Venue:
Hilton San Francisco
333 O’Farrell Street
San Francisco, CA 94102-2116
Attendees include producers, content editors, technologists, programmers, designers and newsroom decision-makers – hailing from major media markets, independent Web sites and leading academic institutions.
We have expanded the available prime space, placing 32 exhibitors in the center of the action all day Friday and Saturday, Oct. 2 and 3. There will also be a Blogging Bar with free internet access for all attendees to check e-mail and surf the Web.
ONA08 was the sold-out conference, with nearly 800 attendees, where:
- “Tech geek blogger” Robert Scoble streamed his keynote appearance live on kyte.tv.
- Inside and outside the conference, more than 500 people followed sessions through live Twittering, while bloggers covered sessions in real time. (Sample Tweet: “Can someone tell me what #ONA08 is? It’s all over the place.”)
- The Online Journalism Awards, the only annual awards competition recognizing the best and the brightest work in digital news, received 800 entries.
- Tina Brown spoke just weeks before launching The Daily Beast.
