Devin Wenig: Newspapers aren't going to die

Devin Wenig, chief executive officer of the Markets Division of Thomson Reuters, delivers the 2008 Online News Association conference's second keynote speech.

Wenig is in charge of global financial and media services for the company. Thomson Reuters distributes web-based information to media companies, financial services and corporate markets all over the world. Before taking on his current role, Wenig was the chief operating officer and Board Director of Reuters Group PLC.

Mr. Wenig is a director of Nastech Pharmaceutical Company, one of the first American biotechnology companies, the March of Dimes charity, and FXMarketSpace, a Reuters joint venture with the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. He is also a Member of the Young Global Leaders section of the World Economic Forum.

He has a B.A. from Union College in New York and a law degree from Columbia University.
